Description

Folk and TCM Gynecology is course 403 in the peristeam hydrotherapist certification program. 

Folk and TCM Gynecology goes over Traditional Chinese Medicine gynecology and folk gynecology -- two complimentary forms of women's health care that are not under modern western ob/gyn science. 

It can be taken as a stand alone course. It does not require prior courses in the program to understand the content. 

If someone is in the peristeam hydrotherapist certification program this course is included with semester four.

    It's fun to learn about all the different health traditions and remedies used around the world for women's health. I am grateful to have this knowledge and also to be able to better understand the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to women's health.

    I think this has been one of my favorite classes yet! I love seeing how women have cared for one another for centuries around the world. My love is TCM so an in depth look at this topic was awesome!
