The advanced steam setup is perfect for users who want to steam for long sessions or who desire more heat.
Place an electric burner (sold separately - available from Amazon or Target) in the sauna. The nozzle should be facing the side opening. And the plug should go through the hole in the back. Plug in.
Place the herb pot on top of the burner.
Fill the herb pot with 1-2 liters of water.
Add 1 herbal packet to the pot.
If you have loose leaf herbs add 3 tablespoons.
Put the lid on.
Turn up to medium.
Let herbs cook for 10 minutes.
Tip: Make sure to leave the top of the sauna open so that it doesn't get too hot inside the sauna.
After 10 minutes turn the heat off.
If you would like to get double use out of the herb packet carefully remove it with a large spoon and store it in the fridge for next day use.
Close the top of the sauna.
Remove the pot lid.
Test the steam for comfort level.
If it's too hot, let it cool for a minute.
Your session is ready. Remove bottoms and take a seat.
Sit over the steam for 7 or 8 minutes until the steam starts to decrease.
When you are ready for more steam or heat turn the burner up to the lowest setting.
If you would like more heat, turn it up a little more. And so on until you get to a comfortable temperature.
